In addition to being known as Trimbakeshwar Temple, this temple is also called Trimbakeshwar Temple. There is a beautiful temple in the mountains just 6 km from Rishikesh railway station that only reveals its full splendor after four full moons have passed. The city of Rishikesh is home to quite a number of temples, including the Kailash Niketan Temple, which is another name for this temple. This is one of the most important places to worship in the city and it is suitable for all kinds of religious ceremonies. In the early 9th century AD, there are historical evidences that point to Adi Shankaracharya as the constructor of this temple.
